If you want to play other players, then do so. If you want to play NPCs, then do so. Either way, you should only play for as long as you're enjoying it. It's not a grind unless you yourself choose to make a grind out of it. It sounds like you decided for yourself that you were going to just play with the same NPC for 50+ matches and then came here to complain that you picked a boring way to play. If that's not what you enjoy, then don't do that. If you'd rather play against other players, then challenge other players to a game instead.
the drop rate isnt that bad.. what is it with people lately asoon as anything time consuming comes along they whinge n whinge n whinge about the effort needed to get somethin good.. ffs would u prefer they just handed you everything on a silver platter??
Some people like their slot machines. I hate gambling, I hate casinos, same for pachinkos, but everyday there are addicts there pressing that same button (they don't even pull no lever) anymore. Boring as heck to me, but they like that grind. What can I say? Something for them to help pay the bill for us to go bang our heads against the wall on T9+, seems like a fair enough trade off.
Then no one would bother playing random people or at least use good cards if that kind of risk was involved. Besides, I'm sure the "no cards lost" rule was put in to prevent people from trying to game the system if one wanted to rig games for their friends and boost them.
