Didn't some of the crafters get banned too? As well as those selling runs since they got dirty money.

Yeah, this affect innocent players too

Is mute an option? Mute any Gil spammers system so any accounts they make are unable to send messages.

Gil buyers are the reason Gil sellers exist, so no warning, ban dem suckers. No buyers, means no sellers.

How about we just ban Chinese IP's from being able to access the NA, JP, and EU servers? They have their own servers now.

This option worked very well in FFXI.

That blocking ip from china is nice, honeslty from years of playing mmo's i never meet chinese player who are useful in terms of gameplay, so.... :p

And no. I still got rmt /t here and there whenever I go back logged to XI. :p

RMT is a hard one to hit. You can really only go after the person that buys the gil. Though SE is not in the business of policing everything and we saw the mess with bans hitting everyone at game launch. I would like it so only friends can send me tells or that I can chose to restrict who sends them to me. The tells I get are lvl 1 char in Ul'dah. They have no reason to send me a tell. Maybe no tells until level 20 or something. I hate running around with busy on as I do get a lot of tells from friends. These rmt crapping in my chat log every few minutes is getting very old. Fix it SE. Sure this idea is limited and ppl can still rmt but at least I don't have to see it in my chat log all the time.
