One way is , if you have time to up whm to 50 , even without seeing the boss you can spam medica2, throw a holy or 2 at the place you think the boss is ^^ , use bénédiction and medica 2 again .Be in a full team of course ^^.

The trick to getting credit on a boss is to deal at least a bit of damage to it.
To that end, if you have any ground-targetted or PBAoE attacks - for instance, Holy, Blizzard II, Shadow Flare, Arm of the Destroyer, Flash, Steel Cyclone, Death Blossom, Flaming Arrow... (I assume Dragoon has something they can use too, it's the clast I know the least) - you can cast these where you think the hunt probably is and tag it and get credit. Of course you won't get much, but if you're in a party it should work. I don't think every class has these, but several of them do - something you can cast without a visible target. -

The trick to actually getting enough credit is to Flash spam. Or Medica 2 spam. Having DPS class in your team when you are having trouble rendering the S rank mark is problematic because they can't aim, and they can't generate enough aggro.

Upgrade the HD to an SSD and your S ranking hunting problems (along with slow loading into zones) are solved. I recommend not standing in the pack of the horde as the monster can disappear for a moment.

Yep, I always suggest targeting someone you CAN see (that's not a healer) and using a <tt> macro with one of your instant attacks. That way you'll get the requisite one hit in at least. I suggest a macro cause this problem comes up with nearly every hunt. Put it on some out of the way xbar.
