The message someone intends to convey can be overshadowed by the way it's communicated and/or perceived. In my opinion, a suggestion that the video be edited to highlight the more significant moments of combat by removing the segments of the clip prior to the match and in between battles would have been received very differently in this thread, while still conveying the essential part of the message.

I disagree. I think his feedback was good and direct. I understand where you're coming from with the tact stuff, but if someone is putting themselves out there on the internet AND asking for criticism, there should not be a need for tact in the first place. I'd hope the person had a thick skin already and not easily offended. Tact is good when you're telling a child there's no Santa or something. He's so right about the carebear generation thing...and it's so sad...in a PvP forum for crying out loud.

Nobody likes watching lengthy videos unless there's real interest.
New Youtubers making 30minute videos are going to have a hard time getting subscribers, simple because short attention spans.

First 3 minutes of the video wasted time.
Consider commentary.
Maybe reduce less exciting moments and provide run-ups to highlights in a match.
Consider zooming into your character more.
It's hard watching ants kill each other.

I liked the music choice.
And overall a standard match.

show some interesting clips not just you in stealth, go look up some interestign fights. try a 1v2 show some skill

thanks for the feedback and soz for the late reply been playing other games and uploading some other fights in future i will try keep ffxiv pvp fights short and simple as to fighting and edit out pointless riding the video was mostly a showcase of the new gamemode at the time

i have been gaming since a child and do a little semi pro gaming, so i could say i have thick skin but i did ask for everyones feedback so no matter how harsh or bad it seems it is what i have asked for, ill rather people tell the truth then lie and say everything is good when they think something is wrong

If only more were like you!

As other have already said, the video would have been much better without the first 3 minutes of the video where you just stand around.
Apart from that, and the begining of the fight where you just run in circles it was really good once you finally got going.
