the rates are nowhere near that according to ff angler, goby's are 100% unless your using the wrong bait... a wahoo is roughly 60% chance on a mooch... the titanic swordfish... 7.5% on a hq wahoo

the rates at ff14angler are always wrong

ff14 angler counts every fish no matter of weather or time

if someone tries to catch titanic saw during rain or fog and gets 100 silver Sharks and 1/1 titanic during the right conditions the site will tell you 1/101, even if the true rate was 1/1 in that case

its the same thing with every big fish..., the numbers are only usefull to choose which bait is the best (because they usually dont have weather or time conditions, which distort the numbers)

with 20% I meant HQ Gobys, thought that was clear, sry...

Maybe he just has hella good luck. Ive seen friends of mine get all 12 atma's (when first released) within a day, and others who didnt get a single one in a month. Ive seen, recently, a plethora of people getting the pony whistle drops within a few clears, while other havent seen one in over 50. RNG,,, a Really Not Great/Good system if you ask me.

getting a simple double mooch has nothing to do with tons of luck

titanic saw is as common as morinabaligi, poxpike and every other white 2 star fish

even canavan is way "harder" to get but people catch tons of it while aiming for kuno
