Kicking ppl out from Linkshell

What i dont get is like most things in this game. FFXI's LS system was great you open the linklist it shows ONLY who is in the LS and on. Not a entire list of people in the LS who are on or not. Again one of them if it wasent broke why fix it sort of deals. 14 is full of them something so basic and what was flawless gets all screwed up!

Actually, I LIKE seeing a complete list of my LS members. It was sorely needed in FFXI. It's especially needed now since there is a member cap.

I don't understand why these things are perceived as being mutually exclusive.


For all the major/drastic, difficult-to-implement changes that are being talked about, the Linkshell functionality really seems quite minor by comparison.


Give us:
1. a sorting option. Let us see who's online at the top of the list, offline players beneath the online names.

This would allow you to see your full member list AND who's online. It doesn't add extra clicks, extra windows, etc.

2. Let us kick players who are inactive or whatever else a) without them being online, and b) without having to stand right beside them.

We'll never have to re-make shells again, we can keep track of the full LS roster easily, manage inactives as needed.

I agree that we really need to get some basic Linkshell functions added to the game as soon as possible. My shell has gone through 2 and now maybe 3 separate shells alone from lack of space due to people filling up the shell, then leaving for extended periods of time (not that it can be helped).

We really need to be able to promote from anywhere in the game world and kick people whether they are online or not.

This would be helpful.

Yes, I would like this feature to be available for linkshells as well. It isn't fun to have to keep merging/re-grouping shell after shell simply to weed out the inactives or the ones that have gone and left the game for good.

I second this, my social shell had to break and be remade last month just to get rid of about 1/3rd of our members due to them quitting.

We need this badly ><
