I went with a male miqo'te model first, collected a lot of glamor gear that looked good, then fantasia'd to female miqo'te a while down the road... Now all my favorite glamors look odd, especially any of them with large armor pieces sticking up which inevitably look too big on girl cats, even with scaling (oh birdsong coat, I am looking at you). And clipping issues everywhere, augh. Everyone said gear looks better on girls so I expected to look even cuter, not less. XD
Countless hours fishing emperor fish because the were 50k each for reg. To make a long story short I probably ruined the market because I sell 12 a day for 30k but now their worth 25k each and rarely sell.
EDIT:I also recently became a blacksmith and a miner for material. But certain material required lumber so I became a botanist then a carpenter. BUT!!!! I also needed clothes so I became a leather an weaver. I just became a goldsmith and alchemist for additional ingredients.... I also see some that require culinarily ingredients...
Very minor, but so few of the female Miqote hairstyles look good with the soldiery healing hat!
