[dev1130] Stealth will ultimately only work on mobs 50 and below?!?

Impossible? Go look on some community sites like CORE and other ones, you will see screenshots of R5's in Mor Dhona. Its not impossible, its a challenge and requires you to not just blindly rush forward.

I did this at Rank 12 on my fisher, I had to run past many aggro mobs that could one shot me 10x over. Wait for enemies to turn away, run between clusters of enemies when they are not facing where you are running. Many mobs do not aggro just based on proximity, many are sight aggro only.

This stealth ability is not meant for you to run passed mobs for exploration, its to allow gathers to harvest their nodes without pulling aggro or being interrupted. Gathering classes in this game have gotten practically nothing since launch! Let those who play these classes get something useful finally, DOW/M have raid mobs, NM, Dungeons, Consistently get new unique items, hell even crafters get some useful NM gear. Let the DOL's have something for once, the vast majority of the updates in this game leave them getting nothing. Where is my R50 fishing rod? Where are botanists R50 axes? How about miners R50 picks? Thats right, all the new gear goes straight to the DOW/M classes.

well when you put it that way.... lol. im not opposed to DoL's finally getting some love and i understand the applications. i suppose its more wishful thinking then anything. ultimately i just thought it would have been more universal, and then we would'nt really have to wait for a map revision, which sounds like a daunting task.

not to dwell on the off-topic of goin to mor dhona, but kudos to you if you made it there at such low ranks. seems like i need to pop in some metal gear solid for more training. !

There is no gathering node in Mor Dhona, and it's not the only way to Mor Dhona either.

Hint: It's not the only way.

For 1, they had already announced that they had no intentions to give DoW/M a stealth ability.
2. The point of this ability is and will always be so gatherers can actually gather rather than having to move nodes away from mobs every time there are new monsters and redistribution of monsters, this way we (I mean DoL) can get what we enjoy done.

I think the whole ability is a dumb cop out and I hate it.
