Weapon types you'd like to see in game

Lancaster 4 barrel (yes I know we're getting the Machinist but he had a 2 barrel...more barrels more fun.)

Final Fantasy has a tradition of unconventional weapons like cards, flutes and boomerangs. I want crazy weapons.
And gunblades. Lots and lots of gunblades.

I would like Dragoons(lancers) to actually have big ass lances instead of dumb spears.

Here's a terrible example but you get the point. Dreadwyrm spear on top,, lance on bottom.

Personally, I'd love to see guns, two-handed swords, and astrolabes used as weapons in game. That'd be sweet.

I don't know what Job they'd be suited for, but I could see a magic/physical half-breed Job, possibly even a support job, using these. Always thought they were a fun weapon.

Tonfa. Monks are great and all, but knuckle weapons just look so barbaric. I want my Tonga, like what the protagonist uses in Sui 2. : C
