No love for V-day.

The gay couple from the WP HM quest were adorable, I haven't done the event yet but I was hoping they would make an appearance. :( Unfortunate.

Except, y'know, gay people are real and representation in media actually affects them, whereas Miqo'te aren't... real...

I agree that it isn't a big deal, we are represented elsewhere in the game (see: above), but it would've been nice to feel included in a holiday about love and romance.

Well, representation for minorities in media does actually matter a lot. As long as it isn't shoehorned in, it's definitely important. It helps "normalize" it for people so that prejudice lessens and it helps people who are struggling with their identity come to terms with it. That may sound weird, but it's legitimate and it happens a lot.

Why do people think that any form of media has to add in minorities to fill some some of hidden equality quota?

Why do people think that asking for minority groups in media has to do with quotas rather than a more accurate depiction of the myriads of people you'd meet in your life and create an emvoirment (even a fantasy one) where everyone feels welcome?

Because the frequency of which it is asked demanded is not an accurate depiction of statistics.

I actually feel bad for SE for having to deal with shit like this everytime. It seems that everything they do offends someone. People are just never satisfied with anything =____=

I'm gay. and frankly I couldn't care less whether the npcs in the storyline are gay/straight/whatever.

This guilt-tripping over the lack of homosexual relationships in the holiday event is offensive in itself. You should stop being ignorant about how you want to force SE and everyone else who plays to accept your ideals.

I wanna complain too, there aren't any interracial couples (black/white specifically) my wife and I are an interracial couple irl and I demand that SE represent us too!
And why stop at same-sex, interracial? Why not inter-species, Chocolina had to come from somewhere!
