How to handle being double teamed?

Frontline standings =/= how well each GC does.
The standings in general are a very poor representation of how each GC does, because they only consider specific games at specific times for specific players rather than every match as a whole.

This is coming from someone who has topped the charts in both victories and total matches played multiple weeks in a row on my world. And feel free to look back on Malboro for proof; the top three in almost every category have been Flames, every single time, with lots of Adders and very few Mael.

Also, the link you posted only proves my point; the top person on there is an Immortal Flame, with many other Flames coming up behind him.

There are lots of Adders and very few Mael on that list.

Honestly, I was trying to point out to you that on Primal (which we were talking about because you brought it up first), Storm is doing well. I really don't care how worldwide standings for the GCs are because I have nothing to do with those data centers.

Mael and Adders have a very good chemistry against Flames in Slaughter on Primal. Mael camp our jumppads and Adders our ramp. I don't know if I'm just extremely unlucky but Flames have been on such a fabulous losing streak in the past few days for me that I'm honestly thinking of switching. I really just hope it's a bad week, cause for now even our own teammates keep acting like our enemies...

Every side gets focused by both teams sometimes. Its the nature of 1v1v1

Of course it's to be expected but I've yet to see it another way, to deliberately ignore a party and to give it an advantage like that? It's like Mael hate us so much they don't mind making Adders win.

So? There have been times Maelstrom has been pushed in by Flames and Adder at the same time while they ignored eachother.

Its part of the game, you just feel it when its happening to you. There is no secret agenda, it just happens.

Actually, I can testify to this.

Mael and Adders run through the same exact strategy on Primal every single game. The Adders do not leave the middle and do not send anybody down for the two systems that spawn in Manors and Markets. Mael completely leaves mid and sends two teams to temple and one team to Manors.

What this effectively means is this:
-The Flames cannot stay mid entirely because they end up getting rushed by the Adders sooner or later
-The Flames cannot send only one team to Temple because they get killed by two Mael teams

There are multiple ways to get around this, but essentially what this means is that Mael always gets two systems and Flames get one, while Adders get zero but get the assault system that pops up in mid.

Mael then goes for our jump pads and stops us from going up while the Adders camp our ramp so that nothing can be done to stop them. You could say, "Go up another ramp" but you cannot access the Mael ramp when there are so many Mael at temple and the Adders spam cometeor until everyone is dead at their ramp.


Essentially, we get screwed, because Mael knows that we NEED to contest them for Temple because they don't need to worry about Adders. So Mael's attention is pointed towards us while the Adders ensure nobody is up top.

I normally wouldn't give a shit, but when it happens over twelve games in a row you start to feel a bit jaded, because it never works out for the Maelstrom. They camp us, let themselves get distracted, and either get 2nd or 3rd. Why? Why is Mael happy with being the 'eternal second'?

Flames always gets Markets. And it's done that way mainly because Adders never leave the middle. Not much you can really do as a single B team at mid with 3 groups there, so why feed?

And we've won MANY times doing that so I'm pretty sure Storm is not the "Eternal Second" you speak of. It's more that Flames is stuck in third and can't figure out how to get out of it. I think rather than worry about what Maelstrom is doing, you should work on improving your team so that you can actually win and not blame it on Maelstrom.

Second, out of the many matches I play and have tallied, Adders come out in top majority of them, while Mael and Flames win occasionally but mostly scramble for second. I'm not blaming anything on the Maelstrom, but such a feeble strategy ultimately proves a hindrance to both teams. You overrate Maelstrom's abilities and underrate the Flames, from what I've seen.

After having to go up the ramp and push Adders back then having Maelstrom wait a while then use our jump pad to position directly behind us so we are trapped you start to suspect that something fishy is going on after the fifth time.
