3440 x 1440 video card and sli/crossfire troubles

They said the DX 11 update will reign in some performance for those with DX11 cards but they never said how much by buy 10% is good enough for me.

I'm not an Fps junkie. Just want smooth gameplay with near max settings. To me the Fps is just a way to benchmark it. So long as it's smooth I don't care what the Fps is. I'm sure I could live with 45 Fps in raids. Is that with settings at max for you?

If I can run it as smooth as that video at near max settings I will be happy. I'm ok with turning down a few. But mostly I would want to keep the effects settings. As far as I've read AA and stuff don't need to really be used at this resolution anyhow and also from what I've read that is the big vram killer.

Also, I'll be running with the 34" lg ultrawide

So I just asked another guy on the overclockers forum as he was in the same boat I am now and he said his 980 rocks the monitor and that he isn't even worried about a big performance hit with the dx11 update
