I think a system like this would work well for pet classes in XIV. I guess we will have to wait and see :)

Introducing the Gambit system to ffxiv or a form of it is a great idea, a concurrent implementation when pets/companions are introduced would also be great.
I am in favor, and I hope SE is likewise.
