At that time I'm still new and not really used to the auto translator now I macro it all, I will DF as tank mostly.
I only DPS if with my friends, so far dungeon below lvl30 are easy and the mechanic are simple.
I'm skipping dungeon for a while because focusing on crafting.

few days ago i got into a tam-tara NORMAL and fell in a speed run, that we finished it in 10 minutes - we jumped all mobs by: tank aggroes we run like crazy to a boss and then healer rises him into a boss room - I was there for exp for my under 50 (under 30) class... but I have no idea how a first timer in that dungeon would work - it's true i got in with join in progress but.... sometimes people really rush to much :(
Tho i needed ex i didn't mind, I would mind if someone was new, and I would try to stop them from the crazy running tru the dungeon <o<

Like you said, it might ruin the player experience... that's why I recommend for first timer go with your FC or friends.
New player will always never skip cutscene, that is what I'm thinking.......
And I'm not sure what they're rushing about... Playing game is already wasting time :p

@ Limelol
I joined in progress, and they were already running - and uhm, I think they could have beaten the dungeon even if I wasn't there. And I was so confused, because I did this kind of stuff on high levels with my fc, never saw it on low level XD - and I didn't mind, because I got dinged to 25 anyway :) I think I was playing and running and I had this face: O_O and I realized what the hell happened when we were already out O_O

Hmmm yeah I rarely see speedrunning in low levels. But oddly enough yesterday while in bray nm we had someone at lvl35 in there while the rest of us were all 50 and asked them if they want a full clear - they said no they just doing for the drlow. So skiped a ton of mobs. So apparently this is becoming a thing.
