Looks like a memory issue. Maybe the clock is too high or the timings or voltage too low. Some boards fail to recognize those settings correctly. Slightly wrong memory settings don't cause crashes at normal usage but only in stress situations(like ffxiv). Could also be the pagefile or a broken mainboard, but that's less probable.

thanks coldfire what can i use to tweak my memory settings is there a benchmark app to assess and tweak these settings?

You will probably have to go to the bios, decrease/increase the settings for ram and start ffxiv to see if it helped. No memory benchmark or testing tool is able to stress out the RAM like a 3d game. I would start with increasing the timings and voltage. Most DDR3 RAMs can take 1.6V easily. Would probably be best to check the manufacturers website for specifications.

cant change any of the settings since its a hp machine and part of the bios is greyed out... figures any recommendations?
