Also It though it could be interesting if there was a "mount" that was something like Pegasus boots, or similar enchanted flight concepts.

Allows you to travel as your own mount (you couldn't fight, like you would on a mount - but you would appear as your own utility of transportation).

A lot of the current mounts are marked as either 'terrestrial' or 'flying'... I'm hoping all of the current 'flying' ones actually gain true flight capability in the expansion.

For an original mount though I really wanna see the flying fat chocobo. It was mentioned at fanfest and Yoshi seemed to like the idea so it may be happening.

Id actually want the mounts to be influenced by the new zone's demographic, mostly because my first flying mount in an MMo was in WoW and it seriously pissed me off when I finally got my mount and I couldn't fly my gryffin like all the regulars ones in the starting zones.
so Id rather not have mounts that are perfectly able to be used in the old zones, but I can't because 4th wall game limitation reasons, like the flying chocobo they revealed. IE something that just wouldn't exist up until this point.
idk what the new regions are like so I cant give an example, just my opinion on what kind of mounts I would like to see, though if flying mounts had a walking mode and are able to be used in the old zones, then I have no problem with retrofitting old mounts or borrowing from old zones, I just dont want to see, "this perfectly fine vehicle or animal which is completely capable of transversing this zone in either the sky or on land can't be used here because screw you, new zones or bust".
