not really a SAFE bet, persay, considering existing i70 gear is inferior to the i60. Especially when we already know the i70 stuff isn't craftable, and therefore isn't meldable.

Did you know that the i70 token hands is the same as the i55 crafted hands except they swapped 3 points of something for 3 points of CP?

Not sure if its allowed on the forums or not, but since I cant remember a rule preventing it specifically, ill post anyways. early mining data is showing adepts chausses as being -4 control and -1 cp vs. fully melded artisan culottes.

so, about on par with the ixal gloves.

p.s. if it is against forum rules, ill definitely delete this on my own, and apologize profusely.

3 control for the cost of 3 CP yup. The thing is, those gloves aren't really in the same progression path as the Artisan Spectacles. Totally separate acquisition methods. Ixali Beast Tribe reward for Ehcatl gloves and Talan in Mor Dhona for the Artisan i70 Spectacles.

So the lucises look straightforward enough. Handin: supra + 20 moonstones + 20 hqed 3* items (e.g. petrified orb)...

Are there even crafts that require these?

Now you don't have to meld Artisan's Tools one by one if you have Lucis and melded Artisan's Apron.
I think that's the point.

You might also meld Control and CP materia for your Artisan's Tools now.

The crafted + melded is still BiS, if barely.

Lucis is gonna be insane though. its basically 116k company seals per lucis.

I hope you guys realize that the new i70 does not replace the fully-melded i60 stuff. A quick stat comparison on the database makes this pretty obvious. Do not get rid of your fully melded Artisan's gear...
