Some of the Achievement names are like that, too. "Destiny's Child" for doing like 3000 fates or something. And "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" for killing lots of enemies. Oh and I think there's a quest called Notorious BIGGs (?) somewhere. Although I guess those are recent enough not to be that obscure.
I just died in in six arms tonight!
That one is always good for a laugh.
A lot of 80's/90's pop references that I get... I'd like to see a list because I knows theres a bunch. Some related to other FF titles. for instance, the Achievement for BLM getting their relic is something like "Ohohohohoho!", which is Shantoto's signature line when casting (FFXI).
Another really old one. Again while waiting for Chupacabra I started the FATE, A Mad Mad Mad Sergeant (the movie referenced is from 1963, if in fact it is the movie I'm thinking of). Come on SE, making me fell really old. Though the movie was before my time, I do remember watching it with my mom when I was a youngin.

Breaking Dawn.
In the french version there is a fate called " le drône de fer " , ref to " le trône de fer " the french name of Game of thrones. Maybe there is a fate called " A game of drone " in the english version ? :o lol
The FATE "That's What Adventurers are For" with the boss called Dion totally has to be a reference to "That's What Friends are For" by Dionne Warwick. I think it came out in the mid 80's, so not THAT long ago, but still an unusual choice. Naming the monster after her is also pretty hilarious...
