Turns out I just had really bad luck. The SE chat support told me to contact the retailer (amazon) and all they can do is issue a refund if I return the item. It's a shame it's worked out like this. I've already activated the digi-pass, though, hope that won't be a problem ><
EDIT: RESOLUTION: Customer support requested I send some pics of the game disc/box/reg code, and have upgraded my account to have the correct status and the bonuses. So overjoyed to finally have the items I paid for!
