Because new recipes will be added in 2.5.

If the new recipes still require sealant, mainly a body piece / belt or even some of the right side if they venture there, sealants will be in extreme demand.

Virtually creating massive windfall profits to anyone who has them stocked up if they remain at the current pricing.

i wouldnt be surprised if the lower the cost of sealants at ixali vender by patch 2.51. Its going to happen eventually to push through content. we just don't know when it will happen. Doubt it will happen for 2.5
