Whats the point of the summer event at camp riversmeet?

I went there 'cause the easier place was bugged >< I was lucky there was 2 other people there so I didn't need to do it alone.

The reward is just a Black Ash, you need it to get the last swimsuit like others mentioned. You can also get it on the other coerthas hamlet, and it's much easier there.

However, soloing the Camp Riversmeet one without clearing the cave before calling the bomb is amusingly hard.

but theres like no achievement for doing the bomb run in every location or anything like that right?

No there is no achievement. They literally did it, just as an option for people that specifically wanted a challenge. It is completely unnecessary.

For now it is. There may yet be a phase two in this event, as there was with hatchingtide.
