SE just needs to give a legit reward for the more experienced players to help the less experienced players, and this could stop. Give the helpers a token that could be used towards fcob gear, or something.
Trying to find 7 others that need a clear and can clear that clear is more of a challenge sometimes than the fight itself. If you don't jump on the new raids when they first are introduced, you're gonna be left behind, and I've accepted I've been left behind. Nobody cares to see someone wipe over and over learning mechanics, which is why I think we as a community, need more 24+ raids and less 8 man content.
If you've noticed, not many people have problems with the 4 man content, but the 8 man content..... /sigh
And yet, nobody cares to type instructions in chat either, outside of a few. If I see a group having problems, I'll explain the best I can, and if after the 5th wipe and they don't listen to what I have to say, I myself will jump ship. There's no point in explaining a fight if they don't care to listen or take your advice.
I tried to help some new players pass titan story mode last night. I told them exactly what to do and how to make it easy, get on titan's butt and use medica after he jumps. 5 wipes later, and I, as a blm, only got 1 cure the entire time, I jumped ship and left. The healer didn't even have 4 items of gear equipped, then complained about running out of MP solely curing the tank with cure2 and nobody else. They could have spammed a few leves and got decent enough gear for crying out loud.
All I'm saying is, even I know there is a limit to teaching folks. Those who listen, are going to get my help. Those who don't, well, I'll wait 30 minutes and queue again.
But anyway, I'm off topic somewhat so I'll shutup now.
