Any aspiring Astrologian players for Heavenswawrd?

I intend to level one but I hope the card mechanics are nothing like ninja mudras. If they are, skill lag will make this class unplayable.

If its funny to play i will switch.
Weapon looks so rawr to me.

I may very well switch from WHM to Astrologian. It has peaked my interest to say the least, and of the 3 new jobs/classes announced this one will be the first I level up and possibly switch my main to.

:/ but Ninja isn't an unplayable class. I don't know how prevalent of an issue skill lag seems to be, but I've never had any problems with it as a PS4 player. Even when I was on a PS3 I had no issues with skill lag.

It seems awesome. I would consider maining it (sch at the moment) but if the card system is like mudra, hell no.

Go take a look at the DPS forums and you'll see a massive thread just about mudra lag. Recast time is supposed to be 0.5 seconds for each mudra but for some reason or another, it frequently goes on to 1s or 1.5s in duties for the next mudra to register. Sometimes, it will register the mudra clientside but not the server so you have cases where you go 3-2-1 for Huton and then lag skips over 2 and gives you Katon so your only choice left is to do 2 again for Doton. It has even been shown that if you have any sort of mudra lag, using Fuma Shuriken instead of Raiton results in next to no DPS loss because that second mudra isn't eating into your GCD. Now imagine a similar problem for a healer, where timing is of the utmost importance.

I want this class to be my main come 3.0. Although lots of people speculate that the card system = mudra, i am unsure of this. It may be something along the lines of buffs/debuffs that are triggered from the celestial card deck (is that what it was called?) and the main healing abilitites kept seperate from any random mechanics (if indeed the card mechanics are random).

I most certainly am! day one I'm making the switch. my main was a WHM and loved every minute of it! wonder the exact details about this class... WHM were AOE and big heals. where SCH were quick heals. wonder what this one will be.

I'm imagining a time-based healer. Something like foreseeing into the future and casting spells now for effects later. That's what I'd like to see anyways. :P

I will level it for sure. Hoping I love it more then sch though :)
As to the divine deck, I doubt its going to be like mudra. However, I did get a small hope for a (dont say it) XI Corsair type buff system.
