Wnere are all the farmers?

The items are available on the marketboard for rock bottom prices, whereas the actual mob drop rates are rather low. Farming them is simply not worthy of the invested time. If anything, you're better off simply gathering certain nodes in the meantime, sell that, and buy the item you wish. Although obviously even gathering nodes isn't so much the most profitable way to spend time in this game.

It would make no sense. In time it takes to run Toto-Rak once (and get 10 webs if you are lucky) you could get full stack or even two stacks of web by farming.

I do not relly use diremite webs any more, but I farm my fleece (usually just one stack) and make my retainer get snurble tufts, raptor sinew and the like.

the only world drops really worth farming are snurble tufts and fleece, and that's usually just because they're used for making the green quality crafter body pieces and the easy-to-spiritbind Patrician's Gear.
And if you've been to the common spawn points for those mobs, you realize why SE wants to avoid adding these types of things. Having mob drops with value attracts bots.
