Combine byregots with Great Strides. And Byregots starts to get good after you have at least 5 stacks of inner quiet. After I had tried that combo couple of times, Rumination was taken off my cross skills so that I wouldn't be able to use it. Just save 56 CP for Great Strides & Byregot's. As stated many times, it's insanely effective.
If you're going for all to 50, I don't think it really matters what order you do it in. I did all of them to 50 in no particular order, just alot of leve's and turning in HQ products, you get twice the exp, 2 for 1 kinda deal. It was slow going at first but made it there. If you get all the cross class skills and get your CP to atleast 338 you can HQ any 1 star item with normal mats and 2 stars you can get close to 100, with a couple HQ starting mats you'll get 100. Its a good way to make some gil to get better materia or gear for the push to the 3 and 4 star. If you don't have one yet here is a simple rotation (not to my credit) with 338 CP:
/ac "Comfort Zone" <wait.2>
/ac "Inner Quiet" <wait.2>
/ac "Steady Hand II" <wait.2>
/ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
/ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Steady Hand II" <wait.2>
/ac "Ingenuity II" <wait.2>
/ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
/ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
/ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
/ac "Careful Synthesis II"

Good luck
Awesome thanks, starting cul now to 37 then alc 50 - atm gsm carpenter wvr leatherworker 50
Alchemist 15 button gets pushed ALOT through most of your career that you have it. Getting CP when you dont need "good" is GREAT!
Carpenter Button saves me all the time, when i just about run out of CP, and i need that Steady hand or the progress increasing button to work, it bails me out, and it grows with every step of quality like a little bank account of CP. Leather Worker splits 20 points into 4 steps of 5 points, and you can finish on 5 points which is awesome.
You should get all your level 15s first, then steady hands 2, then go for 50s (byregot's first, then comfort zone and careful synth 2).
Oh I'm sorry forgot to mention I have already gotten all DoH to >15 - just attempting to streamline my progression to all DoH to 50 - At least as of now (could be rotation issue) I am unable to HQ my 1 star book items on my own (Even with HQ starting mats) (So I cannot yet acquire my Artisan headgear)- DoH @ 50 GSM CRP WVR LTR - working on CUL to 37 (maybe straight to 50) these Leves seem super easy to get done especially with cheap MB costs on these
