Changes in the night sky...

Im startled... mostly because it's like the game is re-enacting the movie "Melancholia" End things don't end well in that one.

What if this is how SE are going to change Gridinia by having meteor strike it? that would be a awesome way to do it!!

Yeah ive thought of the cataclysmic way to change and alter the current areas, but then all the areas would become wastelands wouldnt they? And i doubt the area redesign will be an enormous crater across all of the land.

That's what I was thinking. It's a cool idea, but it doesn't seem very realistic. A meteor striking Eorzea would not make everything look prettier. That wouldn't make any sense. :P

Unless it's some magical meteor that brings new life rather than death.

True. It would be awesome if the meteor got really big in the sky, and then explodes with green life energy (like the stuff from FFVII). This energy would rain down upon Eorzea for a week or so, and then they update with new zones, making it seem as though the energy has reshaped Eorzea.
