He/She said they have changed and people wont change their minds.. if hes acting better and they are just being plain rude to him for at least trying to change, (Which normally people with crappy attitudes don't do) then why not allow him to start over I mean really if they are being dicks about it no need to hinder his play if he has righted his wrongs. Give him a break.. Just saying..

Also I can say from personal experience that once you get knocked down from your high horse and you actually hurt when you fell, then chances are you wont try to climb back up.

I will do as Amage has, you are more than welcomed to my shell on Palamecia if you ever find that it gets too bad.

Maybe, if you wait awhile then all the newer/returning players will reach R50 and you will have a new bunch of people to play with that don't have bad experience with you? I am sorry to hear about your situation though, and it is good to hear that you improved. If it is any consolation, I have a character on Besaid and I've never heard anything about you in either of my linkshells, so don't give up hope!

I agree that we should be able to make a server change. I just started playing again for the first time in 2 months and rolled a new character on Mysidia and I love the server, however I have an Elezen Gladiator on Lindblum that I would love to bring over. Since I haven't played in 2 months I would really like to continue on with him but want to start fresh with a new LS on a new server. It would be absolutely wonderful if we could switch. I am also hoping that they listen to our feedback and create more character creation options. More hairstyles, characteristics (plz more tats!), and the freedom to combine characteristics from different facial styles would be awesome! More. Options. Plz.

Unfortunately, there's so very little to do in-game people pass the time with gossip.

Besaid's an unnecessarily gossipy server-- quite possibly the gossipy-ist I've seen in 15+ years of online gaming. While I don't condone rude/blunt/undiplomatic, it can be almost impossible to recover a reputation once the server has decided you are rude/blunt/undiplomatic. Additionally, having a bad day can completely sink your chances for a long, long time-- simply because the server's decided that's the way things are. Nobody questions the server.

Note how I say the server; nobody's going to bother asking you about your side. They decide your side for you.

I don't know the poster, but I do hope Besaid can at least appreciate the directness with which they speak. A self-proclaimed ass is much easier to get along with than someone eternally locked into the passive-aggressive machinations of the Game of Thrones.

What do you mean by this? I have a hard time believing poeple actually chat? I take this as like people chatting in town. My chat log in ul'dah on my server gets a shout about once an hour at best >.>.

While all of this can be seen on others servers in other games, Besaid seems to thrive on gossip.

Well, besaid IS the unofficial RP server. So why shouldn't somebody be the bad ass?
