As a tank I always keep at least 30 antidotes on me incase I get this dungeon. It is an enormous help if I end up with scholar healer.

I don't know why, even with SCHs (who don't have a way to Esuna poison) and with DPS that positions themselves poorly as someone else mentioned, I still am able to adjust myself when I'm on my WAR tanking it (though sometimes it involves running the dragon across the room due to where the puddles are). I even once joined in progress for the hell of it and saved a run after a tank left at the first boss.
I never had one single issue in this dungeon when I'm tanking it. I honestly wondered why I had such horror runs of it when I was leveling my main (DRG) since tanking it was so easy, even with new people.
Brayflox Normal is part of the 'big 4' dungeons, that despite being easier now than they were back then, (Brayflox, Cutter's Cry, Stone Vigil, Aurum Vale) most players suffer a form of PTSD from the un-nerfed versions of these dungeons. Once they have a tank that won't move the dragon, a healer who won't remove poison, DPS sponging healer's mana, PTSD kicks in and they remember the old version....'this party can't do it...I'm wasting my time...$%$% tank/healer' then quit. I see this a LOT with Aurum Vale and someone new.
As a tank, and SCH, I keep quite a bit of antidotes on hand, and Spine Drops...I absolutely hate paralysis!

As tank, I always pull the dragon to the wall on the left to start then just move him around the edge of the room. As ranged DPS, I position myself at the edge toward the back; when he barfs on me, I move to just outside the puddle instead of moving like 20 yalms away. As healer, I prepare myself for a painful encounter because I play Scholar. I swear, half the time I go on SCH I end up with two melee dps though. >.>
This, our job is position, no matter what role we are in. Tank, back against the wall moving out of breath. Melee DPS, close to the left side to the wall so when he barfs on you he is not in it and you can take a few steps to be out of it, Ranged DPS, caster / healer, as far away as you can be and NOT in the middle, closer to the outside wall is best. All this makes it go that much smoother and faster.
