They're certainly not trash. It's true that Kite Shields mitigate a little more damage, but Bucklers smooth out damage spikes.Quote:

Not saying Bucklers are better than Kite Shields because that's just not true. However, Bucklers do have a place in some fights. It's just a shame there isn't a 130 or 135 version of a buckler at the moment.

You can pretty much solo tank the T11 boss besides the forced tank swap. This trivializes the fight as it makes healing fairly easy on a solo tank and your OT can just go into full DPS mode without having to worry about when Resonance is coming.
