Up Commencement Time to 60 Seconds

I completely agree. I missed a queue yesterday for being in a cs. DPS wait times is the real problem here, it takes so long that it makes no sense not to find something else to do to pass the time. It's not like DPS are intentionally trying to troll the df. Many of us just aren't gonna stand in Mor Dhona for hours on end doing nothing just because we're queued for something. I'm willing to assume that most of the people arguing in favor of these lockout penalties aren't actually doing much queuing as dps outside of premades.

^ I love this idea. IMO that would have helped the situation a lot more than penalizing people for queuing as dps then actually playing the game while they wait for an instance to pop.

This would actually help a lot too, at least being able to estimate how much wait time I have before starting something else.

I'd rather they just speed up the queues.

Are regular duty find & roulettes on different queues? Merge them into one. If players are queued for a duty, players in roulette should fill in the blanks.

Naw, they're already merged. If you are a tank in roulette, you'll get sorted into whatever group needs a tank, regardless of how they got put in the queue (via DF or roulette.)

During the time between queueing up and the queue popping, you have upgraded your weapon and two pieces of armor, and filled one or more of your armoury chest boxes.
You need to be able to account for this scenario from a programming/QOL standpoint before instituting it. You and I know this is unlikely, but the dozens of people that would be tossing GM tickets when they miss a queue because they got new pants didn't plan for it.

That said, I agree with 60 seconds being a good idea.

You know, some people don't just sit around and wait for queue.
They might be in combat on another class or crafting a 1star+ recipe that can take them over 45 seconds to be able to change class and commence.

Don't forget about the beast strongholds, if you are deep inside Zahar'ak you will have a hard time getting rid of mobs, specially if those fortunetellers are patrolling all narrow paths, on top of that you have to wait around 5 seconds to change class once you leave combat.

I agree, all of the reasoning here makes a lot of sense.

I had just teleported into Mor Dhona today when my queue popped. It always takes my computer forever to load into this zone, and I could hear the timer clicking down. I had 2 seconds left on the clock once I was finally able to accept it. (((╹д╹;)))

An additional 15s is not gonna hurt anybody, especially since missing your queue can result in a penalty

because when you've waited 30 minutes already, you can be caught midcraft or fate or hunt when it does pop.
