All I see on youtube are kill videos from turn 10 and 11. The Coil is definitely not done yet.

Maybe the player base has just gotten that much better.
This is also the case. You had to learn much in T8/T9. If you got the time to clear savage, then you learned even more. All this knowledge about your job and being on-top of your game definitely helps now for FCoB. I don't want to image what Savage FCoB will look like at 2.5 :D
People need to keep in mind that the majority of clears are comIn from hardcore raiders. This means these players have maximized and perfected their roles in the games. Not to mention most have cleared Savage coil. I'd say that the use of melded vitality accessories have given them a slight edge.
I guess I thought there was going to be a gear check for T11+ since during the Live Letter the developers said only T10 would be able to be downed by hardcore raiders once patch hit.
The groups clearing t12 have been practicing hard. They have savage clears. One group was doing coil 1-4 in i55 gear and also did 6-9 in i90.
Those are extremely hard to do battles which made them extremely prepped for FCoB.
My group has 15 t9 kills and we are having DPS problems.
fCoB is tunes correctly if it was much higher very few would clear between now and 3.0
Yah they can't tune these fights based on the 2-3 top end FCs playing or they wouldn't get cleared by more than like 3 groups before the expansion.
The final coil is extremely well-tuned. Almost staggeringly better than the nine fights we've seen before this. But it's true that gear is secondary to skill here, as it should be - which means that yes, the most talented 50ish players in the world can down t12 after the launch of patch.
You can complain about shit being too easy when you clear it in the first week. 10 and 11 is easy, 12 and 13 are significantly harder. I'd rate 12 on the same level as 8 or 9 savage in i110.
