Sleipnir Mount!

I don't have any pics, but I saw one in game this morning before work. Looks pretty sick. I will be purchasing later.

Now, just to get the Garuda mount :)

This concerns me because there is a soothing music that is used for the Magitek, Coeurl and other mounts that are not birds. Can you confirm that this is different from those kinds of mounts? It has its own unique track?

It sounds like it might be the same as every single other mount aside from Chocobo/Fat Chocobo...

I have someone in my server called Lord Odin and he is now going around riding a Sleipnir mount.

nah i was testing that just now, and it sounds different from the other mounts like the courel and fat bird, it kinda sounds a bit like zelda music when the flutes come in. Its really neat, im loving it.

gah couldn't control myself \($_$)/ lol... riding this beast when i get home! music sold me cuz the choco theme is driving me crazy, usually have the bgm off now because of it.

Somewhat surprised there isn't someone who uploaded the music on soundcloud or other areas if it is different. Not getting any hits.

I would upload the music, but im a newb when it comes to that stuff, not sure how to do it. Also im at university atm on my laptop.

It really is $24 for the mount? I have the funds (I'm 31 years old and earn a 6 figure salary) but do we really want to start a precedent where $24 is acceptable to pay for "visual" mounts? Sounds like things could get out of control. I can't justify the cost.

You can turn off mount music in the config. Hope you didnt buy it just for that...
