for Future Live letters.

Anyway I'm sure they love me cause grass or something but I think they're pretty cool. Ya, you and your grass... It totally killed the game eh! Lol! Anyway, Glad to see some support for this. It may be more of a pipe dream than I realized at first given that the majority of the live letters were in the offices in Tokyo (or Japan somewhere) and they would have to ship him out to participate. Unless they did a kind of collective skype call where they were all participating. Either way, I would so love to have a live English translation as the feed is streamed. Like how you get that sign-language lady in the bottom corner of the screen only Koji would interact with the speakers. The other lady was pretty awesome too, a little nervous perhaps, but if she does it more often that will subside.

Hope you get your High Rez grass in the DX11 client!

Please help me make some more noise to show how much we all appreciated Koji Fox!

;D, I have about 6 mods just for grass in skyrim (one made by me O_o). It is a bit of an obsession but at least when I play skyrim I know I'm not alone, some of the mods are even in the top downloaded list (Nexus) lol.

Although I have not made a thread since 1.0, as I think for the most part they have /greatly/ improved the quality (from 1.0). I was worried in alpha and early beta just because it looked similarly bad but stayed silent as they had a number of updates through the whole process. So... I'm pretty happy.

Next want is 3d water, specially the oceans xD. Actually I noticed back in beta I made a small list of graphical wants, and almost all have them have been addressed - I've been rather hopeful about the whole process to be honest.

Mad props for the closing song. He has volunteered himself for more events, you can't perform that well and then disappear - you now have to do an encore lol.

I would expect a lot of textures to be improved with the DX11 client, although I dont know if they will be upgrading any models. But this is the nice thing about an ever evolving MMO, they constantly upgrade and update.

Yeah I suppose it depends on what they do, like Dark Souls 2's was probably a set of models but usually it doesn't require a model just as much as it requires a series of smexy wave functions, which DX11 can help with (can do without ofc).

Just to make sure though, joke about killing the game - not to confuse me with someone else. I never said the game would die if they didn't improve the grass, or actually at any point have I said the game would die without doing something I've suggested. So.. just making sure I don't have a false image.

It sounds like Koji actually hangs out in Japan so that might be feasible, I just said pipe dream since it already takes SE a few days to get the QA/Video finalized - it seems they would have even more trouble getting someone to do it near live in all English (that and then people would expect other supported languages too). But I agree it would be awesome, very awesome ~

Even so should be probably much easier to find a English to German/French translators all around with regards to fan translations on the fly.

But I agree Koji Foxand Aimi Tokutake would be good it have around for the dynamic.

I would like to wholeheartedly support this idea. Koji Fox and Aimi Tokutake both did a really superb job and I'd like to commend them both.

I'd love to see live or even near-live translation for the Live Letters. Could even be a case of once the live letter is over, the translators can go through it and pause to add translations in after each question and release that video.

I don't mind her, but she seemed.. stiff.. like she didn't care about the game and was only hired just to translate. Kind of like she lacked emotion or something :/
I preferred Koji since he really loves FFXIV and it shows!
