Or have people come up and just hug you or just be all up on you without your say? *horrid flashbacks*

I hope it will be in English. I will gladly paid the $20 if it is. Hope it not like one of those live letters where they expect everyone to know Japanese and know what they are talking. They really need hired an English Translator already, especially for their live letters. English is a world wide language.
It'll be live translated into english since this is the NA broadcast and the live stream is hosted by Bayohne and someone else. And yes that will also be in english. They don't expect everyone to understand Japanese at a North American event, just Yoshi-P's translator lol.
$20 seems perfect to me.
They could have gated a lot more of the content behind this price, but they didn't. It's really very optional and I applaud them for that. Those who decide it isn't worth it will just miss out on a couple ceremonies and an arguably ugly Moogle outfit. Those who do will get a tiny bit more content and will be able to see it more clearly, while helping to support FFXIV.
Everybody wins.
Honestly $20 is not to bad, and its optional, most of the main stuff is free.
Las Vegas Fan Festival Premium live stream features:
One-time fee of $20
HD resolution - Can just watch in SD
Includes the opening keynote by Producer/Director Naoki Yoshida -These 2 events probably don't have any info about the actual game, just performance or what not.
Includes the closing ceremonies event
A code for the Moogle Attire bonus item - Main reason i'm buying the stream, its just a vanity costume, that doesn't affect the game.
Access to the archived footage until March 31, 2015 - Will be available on other streaming sites probably.
Complaining about the stream being 20 dollars??? Really???
http://us.battle.net/blizzcon/en/virtual-ticket/
I can't think of any other company besides Blizzard that does this premium deal but 20$ is pretty damn cheap considering what this type of thing has usually cost.
Would you rather pay $40? 'Cause in comparison to the price of the Blizzcon virtual ticket, $20 is pretty damned cheap.
Isn't it a promoting event ? Or maybe I'm wrong ?
Something to promote, and a steam on internet, shouldn't it be free ?
Soon we gonna pay advertising.
But it's fine, at least there is a SD steam for free.
I just hope the SD doesn't look too bad.
Why are you complaining about $20.00 when you can choose not to pay it and just watch the free live-stream? Granted, the free live-stream misses a perk or so but who cares? I expected it to be a lot more in all honesty. lol
CCP does this every year with their EvE fanfest. HD stream is a premium charge. SD stream is free.
