I know the statement they did in te beta. We in german translation got after some discussions our -ra and -ga spell names :P

Also we got Vita and so on instead of Cure :P

How about no? Final Fantasy games are only connected together via a few recurring themes and possibly some throwbacks to previous games. The FFXIII universe has little to no relevance to the FFXIV universe, and vice versa (crossovers notwithstanding). We don't need this type of attitude here, calm down and stop forcing your beliefs on others, you won't get any supporters that way.

no its just a fact if someone isnt going to have enough respect for ff serise then they dont belong in the newer ones until they earn that respect as a fan of ff by following all the others no excuse for become confused by things since this is Xiv meaning there are others before this one they could go back and play only 2 hours to clear most of the ffs 8 if u do everything in em

There's a bunch of words happening here yet they seem to mean nothing. But I will say I in no way believe you've played all 30+ Final Fantasy games.

FFV PS1 version says, Fire, Fire2, Fire3, Ice, Ice2, Ice3, Bolt, Bolt2, and Bolt3.

They aren't going to change it now if they didn't do it in the first place, im being seriose.

Also the original names of Fire 1, 2 and 3 are actually just Fire... 1... 2... and 3. OMG!
