Fenrir in a duneon? Really SE, reallllllllly?

I think it's cool that Fenrir is being used in the game. However, i'm saddened that he'll be used as a mediocre dungeon boss.

In the only games siren has dealt damage in when summoned, it's been non-elemental or water. She's also been undead half the time.

I just want my Fenrir summon, & SE, it better not be this:

Garuda and Siren appear with similar frequency in the series, but Siren isn't often attributed to wind.

However the reason Garuda was picked seems pretty obvious. They matched exactly to FFXI's system for the core 6 elemental primals.

Garuda is a specialty because there is no iconic "Wind" summon. They could have chosen Pandemona, Chaos, or Sylph. They could have straight up ignored Wind Summons though in favour of something else.

Siren primarily a water summon with wind as a secondary one, if at all....and u are also forgetting that Garuda was a 1.0 primal, Yoshi couldnt chance it even if he wanted to

Considering I've played pretty much all the FF's save a few, my first learning of Garuda was this game. She was only in FFXI prior to this game.

"Shiva, Ifrit, Ramuh, Leviathan, Bahamut, Alexander, Pheonix, and Odin"

These are much more well known to FF fans as a whole.

actually, if we look at the FF lore in general you only have 2 great summons, Odin and Bahamut. (some will add Leviathan and alexander) outside this one... the other are far less stronger than them.

by the way Fenrir was only in 3 game soo far (soon 4 with FF14):
- Final Fantasy 6
- Final Fantasy 9
- Final Fantasy 11

i you look at this, it's part of the minor summons of the FF lore so far. then i'm not shocked more than this.

for diabolos it's only 4 game:
- Final Fantasy 6
- Final Fantasy 8
- Final Fantasy 11
- Final Fantasy 12

for Siren it's 2 game:
- Final Fantasy 6
- Final Fantasy 8

ps: i didn't count the not main episode like FF 12: Revenant wing or game like FF dimension... soo far people complain because they are them favorite, i can understand this, but they are far to be part of the most important FF summons.

Honestly? Now I just want Fenrir as a mount.

This is highly dependent on when you started the series and which games you played. Garuda was a summon in FFXI when it released in 2002. That's 12 years where it was a primary summon in a FF game.
