IMO the 35day was associated with the FC ownership setting.
Previously, some ppl with escaped FC leader requested to takeover their FC,
as you know, one FC could have over 200 members so when only a few FC had problem, there would be many requests asking SE ^^;

Then suddenly SE decided to transfer FC ownership if the master no logon for 35days to resolve those issues immediately.
That's how the 35days started. And apparently this 35day is associated to some other system policies.

I think SE now should have review the 35days rule on FC ownership as well.
To be consistent, for exmaple if you delete ppl house on 90day no logon, you should remove FC opwnership on 90day no logon as well, but not 35days.

Have you tried contacting GMs? That'd be what I would look into.

If you can't find the time to log in just once every 35 days then perhaps you may wanna consider a different hobby.

Yeah because taking a break from an MMO for 2 months before returning to it is such an unfathomably strange thing to do.

You expect people to keep paying the sub if they're planning to take a 2 month break just so they can log in once to not lose the house they worked for?

I'm opposed to to limiting the time for people to use their personal/FC houses since winter storms and other natural disasters can knock out power for months at a time, also military people that's deployed wouldn't be able to log in, so someone deployed should be punished for being in the military? and some people takes breaks for 2-6 even 9 months at a time due to family/financial issues and can't continue they shouldn't have the right to keep their house they put the time into getting? and before anyone brings up the sending the players items to the caretaker, the primal items and some other items that can't be removed will be destroyed, so the gill spend on the items will be lost, that would be the fastest way to lose subs.

Did we ever figure out if this is even a thing?

Do personal houses get deleted after any length of time? Was this system ever implemented for FC houses? I can find literally no definitive answer on this.

Ya know what? If you want to use a LIMITED special function in the game then yes, you should have to log in for it. If you're taking a break then what is that plot doing for you exactly? You're not gardening, you're not furnishing the house, no one is admiring it or staying over. Frankly I'm getting real tired of these hypotheticals. If you get a redeemer scroll to get another plot upon your return and all your junk ends up in your inventory then I really fail to see the issue. Sure life can happen, things come up, but there is no reason why whatever happens in your life should inconvenience others. If you want to take a break then plan ahead. If you're going to quit then quit. Ghosts shouldn't get in the way of the living.

You wanna to take up valuable real estate when you don't even plan on playing for months?
