Well, while they might be scared to show it, at the same time i think if they showed the image it would bring a lot of attention to this game if it's impressive enough.

I really wonder how dramaticly/or not they are aiming the changes to be, they spoke of landmarks, anyone wanna speculate in what these could be? Their purpose would be to enhance the themes of certain zones, Mor dhona has a quite obvious landmark, are they implying that objects like these will be present in all areas? or more like the vulcano in la nocea?

A volcano on land would be awesome! would be great to have something like that! :O

I'm hoping that the landmarks will all give their area something that gives it worth. I really hope for a drastically different Eorzea. One that is memorable and I want places before 50 that will give me a sense of awe.

I'm trying to think of what kind of landmarks would fit the current areas, since we don't really have to much lore to base any speculation on i guess it could be anything.
I guess that the gridania area could have some huge "Lifetree" sort of thing, although that concept is kind of overused, so i don't think it will be utilized.

If they dont remove a lot of the copy paste or decide to just stick landmarks into what we have now, then consider it a waste of time. I barely play the game and im already sick of looking at some of these zone, which is something that never bothered me in games like EQ/FFXI or even WoW.

The Black shroud:

I think they should make the Black shroud really feel like what the name implies at least at night kinda how like Zi tah was in XI(do not want a copy of XI tho) it was always kinda dark even in the daytime http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_O0ch3ABb3L...st+%281%29.jpg , they should also add flowers that seem like they would grow in dark area's like flowers that would glow @ night or w/e.

Thanalan:

This area needs to seem like it was once a forest (for those who do not know Thanalan use to be a forest but it died out that's why it connects to BS") I would like to see more dead tree's around Thanalan Like this http://freetoclimb.com/wp-content/up...st-300x199.jpg. I can't think of more than that so ill come back to it later

La Nosca: i actually like the way this area is atm but at the same time it does not feel like it is surrounded by water. it's gonna be full of panda's, pony's and rainbows and everything is made of subligar.

Would be nice if they did show some concept art just to keep us hyped up for the future of this game.

I've been looking everywhere for scans of the new zones, can't find it anywhere. Please someone scan them :D
