Going to have to go with "No" on this. Stop trying to make FFVII come into every instance of FF. VII is the most over played record ever heard in this gaming community. Please no, the last thing I want to see are people riding around on motorcycles.

It would look awkward with the way mounts work too. It would never accelerate, it would always go at the same speed, it could stop moving in an instant. Things like that, not only would it be out of place, but it would look bizarre because of how mounts work.

Something like the motorcycle mini-game in the original FFVII Golden Saucer brought over to FFXIV's Golden Saucer? That I could get behind.

I'll throw support behind it. Might be a hated opinion but I'd love to be riding around on a motorcycle. I mean, I've got a two-legged mechanical monstrosity already so it's not really immersion breaking at this point.

I suggest a pre-frontal lobotomy also.


This doesn't fit the lore even remotely at the moment.

Because that magitek isn't just some randomass thing. The Garlean empire was designed to loosely resemble several empires from the FF franchise, and FFVI was very clearly one of them. So it completely fits with the lore. You know, the main story?

Your motorcycle...well it doesn't fit. Not at all. Also, the hell do you expect to do to make your motorcycle jump? Throw a ramp in front of it?
