Request to be able to glamour Wands & Scepters to Staffs

My husband feels the exact same way, he wants to glamour that scepter to his alts weapon as well but can't.
It's a shame too cause that is a really cool looking scepter!

It's nice to see I'm not the only one who wishes we could use some of these awesome wands/scepters!
I'm hoping if we share our desire for this that the community reps will bring this to the Devs for consideration :)

As I said before, a shield glamor is not likely going to happen as it's against how the system already works. But I too love my Mogwand and would love to be able to glamor it.

When I looked at the patch notes, I noticed they didn't add any wands or scepters at all. Maybe they're looking to phase those sorts of items out of the game. I'm hoping they make this change too, I rather like the look of the one handed weapons.

Bump this again as i would love to able to glamour wands and sheilds to whm and blm jobs and just to help MB move a little too with these :)

Lol I started a similar thread a while ago. I think they either need to let us glamour them over staves, or bring wands back, they could do them as tome weapons or primal weapons, or even make them craftable... it was nice having that variety. yet, we all know SE doesnt want wands back because of the whole issue that it needs a shield, and balancing it, and the design, and being able to obtain both...

1. If they add a wand and shield to whm, add a wand and shield to a primal/raid. and give a stave to BLM. then the next patch can switch and WHM gets a stave and BLM gets a wand and shield. or do it every odd patch.
2. Make them craftable! if they dont want to have them as tome or primal drops, atleast let us be able to make them, and with the whole materia system in 3.2 they should allow us to make some more weapons, maybe not equal to tome or raid or relic. but atleast another option.
3. Make them glamourable

And yes I still think we should be able to glamour wands/scepters to staves. The stances we take with the weapons drawn are the same so it shouldn't really be a problem imo to allow us to glamour them.

You're forgetting the most important part! If you glamor a wand to a staff which swing speed would it look inaccurate if a wand swung as slow as a staff!? (or vice versa)

Anyway, with the FF13 weapons coming to Mogstation soon I should hope something like this is actually in the works. Would suck to buy the BLM or WHM weapon and have nothing to glamour it onto.

well all we need now is someone to confirm it as it does need to be done as all 2 slot gear is now glamour-able etc

Thank you for the continued feedback regarding the ability to glamour one-handed conjurer and thaumaturge's weapons over two-handed ones. As we've mentioned in the past, the dev. team continues to look into this.

Before that, however, I wanted to let you all know that we're planning to introduce two-handed versions of popular conjurer and thaumaturge's weapons for content which currently reward one-handed versions. Their new designs will be based on their one-handed versions.

Please note that when this is introduced the one-handed versions will no longer appear as a reward from the actual content; however, players will be able to exchange their weapons for the opposite version.

The dev. team is currently working on this and aiming for release in Patch 3.2. After you give these new two-handed versions a swing, let us know how you feel about them!
