Well all we know is SE "intends" to limit crafting. If they are planning this we should talk about it before they do it. We have these fourms for this reason only. to tell SE hey thats cool or hey that sucks.
Lets let SE know how we feel on this.

its following the same path as ffxi did, i think this deserves all the attention atm.
bad mechanic is a bad mechanic.
basically when cap is raised you can only take 1 craft class higher than 50.is exactly the approach they took in 11.I can live with it but is just an excuse to make people pay more for the already free game.
Mastering 1 class only is a good idea. (lots of ways to do this no HQ unless its your master and so on).
Limiting us to 1 is a terrible one now given we have no global AH atm, for a start.
Capping all but one at R40 would work for me, as all i'm levelling for is the ability to repair my gear and make arrows, as finding others isn't always an option.
I am fine with the mastering of only one or maybe 2 DoH classes just because it makes room for a better economy. Yes I understand that you could level another char to master other classes but most "sane" people would not level another char just for the sole purpose of mastering different classes.
Like someone says, you don't have ANY specifics on what they mean by master so there is no point at all to cry wolf. You might still be able to level all craft to max level, so you can still repair gears and make some stuff, but mastering could open up some specific recipes that only masters of that class can craft.
Let's just wait and see what they plan first. I would be fine with limiting the leveling of 1-2 DoH classes post 50 but I think it would fit better the game to be able to level any number of DoH but can only master 1-2 giving specific and rare crafts to masters.
Im working on BSM and GLD. if i have to choose one class AFTER i leveled two classes i will be pissed. I rather know NOW which side they are gonna choose before i rank a craft up.
i ranked up crafts for almost a year then BOOM SE says "hahaha your GLD can not do what other GLD can do even tho you spent the same amount of time ranking it up the other guy did".. is that not a little silly?
so what? if they are limiting a job i already have at 50 to make it less useful then someone esles craft then im not happy.
THM got nerfed but EVERY THM got nerfed. If SE limited one of my crafts its different because if i choose not to main it i would have wasted my time. i would have not ranked it up if its useless. and if someone esle wants to main it then they can use all the skills i can't even tho i ranked to 50 the same as they did. thats just not right.
