Odin's Shield; Will we ever get this?

odin is too boss for tower shields, he just has a buckler so he can parry the world.

I'd rather get his cape as a "All classes" Neck slot item than his shield.

In the event that we do get an Odin shield I think Svalinn would be appropriate. Possible names for all Odin class weapons would be:

Gungnir: DRG
Giovarvoir: BLM
Yggdrasil: WHM
Ichaivai: BRD
Mjolnir: WAR (Though it would have to be a Hamaxe, that said WARriors do have that viking aesthetic to them)
Singasteinn: SUM/SCH (according to Wikipedia, there are no in universe mythical books in Norse myth, so i went with a stone/tablet/thing)
Hrungnir: MNK

And finally as long as we're discussing shield requests can we get Crystal Silence/Dark Discord in this game soon?

Why are people saying that Odin doesn't use a shield? It's even in the CGI.
