Rusty Shackleford
Given that miqo'te don't (to the best of my knowledge) give birth to litters, with regards to the general limitations of the humanoid womb (aside from the odd rare case) then it's best to assume that the primary breeding female of a tribe would have a secret lair somewhere full of baby-qo'te's in tubes.
So yes, proceed with caution; you're probably dealing with a mad scientist.

I think you should look into actual naming conventions within the FFXIV universe for your race-faction. You will discover that not only will you come up with a great name easily, you will understand that it actually means something.
If you are making a male miqo'te, the name is massively different between Keepers and Seekers. Keepers are a matriarchal culture, with a great emphasis on females being in charge. A male's name literally consists of his mother's first name, a suffix that indicates in which order he was born among males of his family, and then his family last name.
Saizo'to Rowe literally translates to "Second son of Saizo, lady of the Rowe family"
Seekers are very different, being a very patriarchal culture with a very different structure. For Seekers, they always have a letter and an apostrophe in front of their name. This indicates which tribe they belong(ed) to. The second part of the male's names indicates their position within the tribe. There are only two positions: Nunh and Tia.
Nunh means he is the alpha male, only the Nunh is allowed to mate with the other females. He earns this right by beating all of the other males and being dominate and wise among all other things. Being a Nunh is pretty tough.
Tia is every other male who isn't the dominate male. So for example a name could be:
U'Terin Tia which translates to "subordinate Terin of the U' tribe"
Each of the letters also have their own meanings and translations. You can find those around the net. I think you should use an actual Eorzean name. They put a lot of effort into writing those naming conventions.
Ah, sorry; I think I forgot to post what I'm creating.
I'm looking for naming ideas for a male Hyur Midlander Paladin.
I'm dead-set on using the name "Terin", but no idea what I want the surname to be...
Why not just go with "Terin Zash"? Props on your appreciation of Mystic Quest, as well. That game gets too much hate for what it was trying to do, and its music was really good.
