What is the life span of the Security token from 1.0?

The tokens I have received from CEs are gathering dust because The one I got for FFXI when they were 1st introduced works fine.

The token I have from the 1.0 CE still works fine. Hell the one I got for WoW back in BC still works fine.

If it does fail though, all you usually gotta do is phone in CS and tell them the key number on the back of the authenticator to disable it. If you lose the token without having a record of the key then you better have a lot of information at hand.

I wish my tomagotchis lasted this long ;_;

I use the security android app so I don't have to worry about battery life :D

I still have and use my 1.0 Security Token.

Same, still using my FFXI token here.
