They probably aren't finished coloring them in. I saw some pictures that were leaked by .dat miners (most of the models weren't colored in yet) and these look essentially the same.

Im sure it is, its the Garlond Ironworks (or however it is spelled) crest if anything; it just happens to be that Cid is the main guy for that group (and he has golden blonde hair and beard in the game so it makes sense @_@/)

Yeah I've never felt the airship models have been completed.
I'm expecting that there will be both personal airships and larger ones. The personal airships will take you to the areas where the weird little airship stations currently exist, and then the larger ones will transport you to the other nations.
I'm also predicting that the boats between Ul'dah and Limsa will someday navigate into Coerthas and Mor'dhana. -

Dude i did the cutscene to see cid, and He doesn't have a beard, grizzly 5 o'clock shadow, but beard no...that's insulting to people with beards, he doesn't even have a moustache, just grizzly 5 o'clock shadow.
