JP servers up, NA/EU servers not (hardware issues)

Well, it's a little disappointing to me. I decided not to renew a month or two ago because my world/server/whatever was having major issues and d/cing people and I couldn't properly complete dungeons and various other things so I thought it wasn't worth paying for that garbage. I go to renew today not realizing that tonight was the patch. So I finished patching just in time for the maint. to hit. So now if I don't get to play tonight, I won't get to play later today either due to maint. then too, so essentially I'm out two days of my subscription. .____.

I appreciate patching the game and keeping it running, and it's my fault for not seeing the patch thing for some reason not included with the rest of the news (when I was pretty sure that the others were previously) but this kind of stuff... It makes me wonder how many more months I should deal with NA being second to Japan, or Korea, or name your country of choice putting out MMOs.

You can do the same 10 servers hardware updates working perfectly fine, and the 11th won't and you don't know why.

It could have happen to the japan Datacenter too, i'm with ashgarth on this, don't act like its some kind of conspiracy.

Uh, yeah, that's how they know they're broken. If they weren't monitoring them, they would just say "All's good, go play!" even if there were problems.

What kind of hardware problems holds up an entire data center? Maybe the door broke and they can't get inside.
