I've actually managed to strike that 14% four times in a row.

Now, if only I could do that with materia.

Had someone I know fail ten times in a row at 99%. Chances of that happening is like .01^10.

Sometimes I still cry myself to sleep thinking of when I missed 18 melds in a row at 45ish%... The pain, the misery, the gil-less-ness ;.;

I know that every roll of the dice is new and doesn't have anything to do with what rolled before so it's completely silly to think your chances increase any just because you get a streak in one direction or another, but still... It hurts!

I'm fairly certain there is a slight bug somewhere in either the calculation of the success percentage, rounding of that percentage, or just the displaying of the percentage.. I've had a 'you obtain nothing' mining something with 100% success rate. Only ever happened once though.

Ive had that happen as well once. Though I might know why it happened, as I used one of the Sharp Visions, then immediately kept mining so I assume it didn't keep up with the buff, as most of the buffs in the game seem to lag a sec or so.
