● Reading Emote
A persistent emote so we can sit and read in the pubs and such.
● Relaxing Emote
So we can laze in the grass and watch the clouds go by.
● Dancing Chocobo Emote
Literally what it says. :p

This is a Fantastic idea. I would also like to expand on this, make it a quest, and you can quest for different books designs, just use the designs already in the game. But quest for as many designs as you can handle.
Also a drinking emote, so you can hang around a table, and drink..."WATER" :P but while your chatting with your friends in your FC/personal house.

THIS.
SO MUCH THIS.
I mean, okay, they're allowing you to have a Sacred Bond with anyone regardless of sex/race/gender/age/etc., but you can't even dress yourself like someone of the opposite sex? Nonsense, I say! Utter nonsense!
The hairstyle thing is especially annoying. What's wrong with guys with long, straight, pretty hair? Why can't I have a nice and simple short crop as a female? I can't see any justification for these omissions and it particularly irritates me as someone who wanted to play a tomboy but can only get most of the way there due to the hairstyle selection. Really irritating!
I want our retainers to be companions. They already have asigned classes, personality and gear. We can pay them venture tokens or another form of currency.
There are already npcs that fight alongside us. Then there's also chocobo, so it shouldn't be too hard to implement such a system. Maybe to limit other players confusion, make them wear retainer gear so players won't confuse them as other PCs
I'd like weaponless casting back from 1.0 (just without the boring nature it had originally)
I dont mean this to sound mean but....Dont you think most of this is pointless fluff that would take up resources to add actual useful things into the game? Like, who cares if while your char is standing around doing nothing if you're leaning on a wall. I'd rather those resources go to something meaningful.
Game immersion is just as meaningful to some people as, let's say, raiding is to others. It's certainly not "pointless fluff" just because you personally think it is. A good game will cater to all aspects of their playerbase, including those who enjoy character interaction more than progression.
Hmm... things I'd like to see..
- Elemental weaknesses and strengths
- Regular mobs with unique combat mechanics
- Unique limit breaks depending on job or class
- Fates that don't take over an hour to spawn
- Dungeons with multiple paths and different bosses depending on path.
- Naked Nero with a rose in his teeth
...just saying.
