Why you should have at least one macro with a /p line.

My only /p macro are for spam

Was used for Hydra.... then used it for some others things....

I use /p Blunt Arrow used
Mostly for the coil silence rotations

Yes forgot this one. I have made a particulary one with coil 2 for silence rotation.
I put a sign1 on mob then when i silence with macro (sign2) the sign1 become sign2 on the mob so the silence n°2 know when it's his turn by looking at the boss and his macro was the same as me but with sign1 to turn in 1 again to set my turn. It was working very well, especially when we had to clear the vocal for tank alert.
A good thing is that we could do also with sign3, but we didn't bother much, it was better to set someone on random silence.

Considering people can report you for spamming chat I don't really think it's a good idea to use macros with text around any sort of pug group.

Yeah I agree, I don't bother with <Se.> things anymore esp in Swiftcast rez because it's annoying lol. I have spam it and make sure it works.
Don't think I wanna hear friggin' Bings and Bangos in PT all day lol.

Agree! Is totally stupid to do Leeches or Esuna on something that wears off in 5 seconds.... worst macro ever. Plus casting leeches or Esuna is like 1.something seconds so basically just have 3 seconds left!. If you dont like to be pacified then dont use it! WAR dont need Berserk to hold hate.

I don't mind removing the pacify if I know it is coming and I have a second to remove it, if there is a macro telling me "Pacified in 1 second" I can time an Esuna/Leeches and remove it immediately. Pacify lasts such a short time that if I don't know it is coming and my GCD is going there is pretty much no point in removing after that.

Haha so you are going to sit and wait to remove it? Well in the real world... this dont work most of the time why? Because other party members get damage or even the tank, so most of the time you will be forced to heal or do other spells. So by the time you get to cast Esuna, it will almost wear off, unless you want people to die. XD

Always annoys me how many bards don't take this macro out when they're not in a silence rotation. I don't need a visual and audible cue that you've just used Blunt Arrow on Garuda for the 10th time.

Well, 99% of healers don't anyway so nobody's likely to notice.:p Classic passive-aggressive healer behavior. I love the ones that stop healing you mid dungeon because you've done something like step in an AOE or taken down defiance.
