It'd probably be awhile until there's another melee dps with ninja coming up. Though I suppose a two handed sword class that splits off to both tank and dps jobs is possible.

So Cloud? I'd love to see slashing two handed /dps/ weaponry. How would the mechanics and feel be? High spike with delays to emphasize weight and power? (Average meeting other DPS classes as not to be unfair, but the feeling would be massive clobbering). Or more of the image and actually not far from how Cloud appears to fight (Advent Children), which is still high paced.

This is the great sword "Ragnarok" from Final Fantasy 11. As a FF11 vet, I totally support this thread. Being able to RAWR!!! Mobs with a giant sword is just plain awesome. -
